1. Introduction:

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of any products or services provided by Busspac ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of services:

Busspac provides:

  • Custom vehicle electrical system design, manufacture and installation

  • Electrical wiring for LVV vehicles, hot rods, race cars, modified vehicles, motorcycles and power sports equipment

  • Supply of electrical installation hardware including battery hold-down mounts and wiring harnesses

  • E-commerce sales of automotive electrical components

All work performed on modified or motorsport vehicles is done at the owner’s risk.

3. Compliance and certification:

Where applicable:

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency regulations.

  • Modified vehicles may require certification under the Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association (LVVTA)system.

  • Busspac does not guarantee certification approval unless explicitly agreed in writing.

It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to obtain required inspections or certifications.

4. Quotes & custom work:

  • Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Custom wiring and fabrication projects may vary due to unforeseen vehicle conditions.

  • Additional work outside the original scope will be charged at our standard hourly rate.

  • Deposits may be required before commencement of work.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

5. Motorsport & Off-Road Use Disclaimer:

Certain products and services are intended for:

  • Off-road use

  • Motorsport applications

  • Race vehicles not operated on public roads

The customer acknowledges that motorsport and high-performance vehicle use carries inherent risk.

Busspac is not liable for:

  • Mechanical failure

  • Vehicle damage

  • Personal injury

  • Loss arising from competition use or high-performance operation

6. E-commerce sales:

All prices are in NZD and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct pricing errors

  • Refuse or cancel orders

  • Limit quantities

Orders are not confirmed until payment has cleared.

7. Installation responsibility (Online products):

For products sold online:

  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.

  • Busspac is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation.

  • Wiring harnesses must be installed according to safe automotive electrical standards.

Improper installation voids any warranty.

8. Shipping and Risk:

Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

We are not liable for:

  • Courier delays

  • Lost shipments beyond our reasonable control

Customers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving damaged goods.

9. Returns & Consumer Law:

Returns are subject to our Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under:

  • Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

  • Fair Trading Act 1986

Where goods are supplied for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply as permitted under NZ law.

10. Warranty:

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Hardware products carry a 12-month workmanship warranty.

  • Custom wiring work carries a 12-month workmanship warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Abuse or misuse

  • Water damage

  • Competition damage

  • Electrical overload

  • Modifications by third parties

11. Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Busspac is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

  • Liability is limited to the value of the product or service supplied.

  • We are not responsible for vehicle downtime, towing, race losses, or lost income.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law.

12. Intellectual property:

All website content, product designs, branding, and technical diagrams are the intellectual property of Busspac.

Unauthorized reproduction or resale is prohibited.

13. Website use:

Users must not:

  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the website

  • Copy product descriptions or images

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

14. Privacy:

Use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law:

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts.
